Dear Art, You can't be serious. I just took a look at your work and it doesn't look at all "uptight" to me...unless you're bullshitting me (to which I don't take kindly). But since when is loose or tight a value judgement? A lot of of my work is extremely tight (see website), because I find it more expressive of certain ideas. I use the sketchbooks to keep from stiffening up.
And another thing: sorry for seeming ungracious. Thank you for your kind comment. I hope I don't sound too much like a paranoid looney. It's been a tough morning.

I am a painter when I'm not trying to make a living from some day job or other. This is a quiet place to put down the random thoughts which might otherwise be buried in a notebook somewhere.
